An incredible day with the Knights of the Magical Moon at le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Boston.
Sir Lexie, Legend of Love, is on a mission–writing a cookbook for kids with cancer. Along with avid cook and cookbook author Georgia Manzo, and under the expert guidance of noted natural health care provider Mark Mincola, Ph.D. and Lexie’s nutritionist Jean Wallace, Ph.D.,CNC her mission is coming to fruition.
Lexie has been living with a slow growing brain tumor since infancy, and her cookbook, Lexie’s Gift–A Cookbook for Kids with Cancer, is dedicated to her friend Kyle Kerpan. Kyle lost his battle with cancer at age 11 and is known as Sir Kyle the cook, Angel Knight.
Scheduled to be published later this year Lexie’s cookbook features stories of her brave fellow Knights and is filled with more than 80 kid friendly recipes.
The cookbook is a groundbreaking resource for empowering kids facing the many challenges of living with cancer through the power of healthy eating.
edible South Shore will keep you updated on Lexie’s progress; watch for an article when the book is completed later this year.
