People are discovering the benefits of buying juice from juice bars.

Juices from juice bars are fast, convenient and most importantly delicious. Whether you are picking up breakfast or just grabbing a snack, juice bars allow customers to get healthy options in a short amount of time. Not only that, but juice bars also often use organic or sustainably grown fruits and vegetables in their juices.

People are also catching on to the juice bar cleanse trend. Juice cleanses eliminate toxins and fill the body with high-dose vitamins, minerals and enzymes that are highly beneficial to the body. Juice cleanses also sometimes result in weight loss. Overall, freshly pressed juice makes it a clean and easy way to eat your daily doses of fruits and vegetables.

If you want to eat and drink the right foods, it is important to ask the right              questions. Here are a few important questions to ask your local juice bar about buying juice:

Is your juice made from locally grown produce?

Where was it grown?

How was it grown? (Don’t always assume the juice you are buying is organic.)

Do you offer any cleansing programs or other cleansing advice?

How knowledgeable are you about cleansing?

With these questions and the help of your new favorite local juice bar, you will be cleansed and feel like you could take on anything. Now go out there and drink up! Tell us your favorite juice bar. Send us a photo of you and your juice and we’ll put it on our Facebook wall! Cheers to juice drinking!

With all of the new interest in juice, now’s the time to influence the business model – instead of just asking where ingredients come from, or the growing practices involved (anything other than certified organic is meaningless, btw), recommend and ask for local and organic choices. For example, if you know that your favorite farmer has the sweetest carrots in the world, recommend and facilitate that relationship…!
